WELCOME TO THE TRIANGLE DOWSERS CHAPTER
OF THE AMERICAN SOCIETY OF DOWSERS
CHAPTER LOGO
DOWSING is not just about finding water.  It can be used to find
lost objects, people, treasure, energy lines, or for your health and well-being and any number of things.  Dowsing is limited only by your imagination.  It is centuries old, there are even drawings in the ancient pyramids in Egypt showing people using dowsing tools.  See the "logo explanation" below to see how the four basic dowsing tools have been incorporated into the logo.
                                               LOGO EXPLANATION

The pendulum is suspended in an area of white, which represents purity of mind, heart and the spirit of the dowser.  The area of blue at the bottom represents water, which some say is the basic reason for dowsing.  The lettering in yellow, "judicum Per Eventus", is Latin which means "judgement by result"".  The golden area represents the treasures which can be found with dowsing.  Directly beneath the pendulum, you can see the Y-rod which has been used since time immortal for finding water veins and other objects.  The L-rods are suspended in each upper corner of the logo on the golden background and the bobbers can be seen starting at the center at the top extending each way and down to the bottom corners.  These are the four basic dowsing tools as shown on the chapter logo.  (the logo was created by Doug Smith,
Ray Hinnant and David Gurney.)
